As COVID-19 cases and deaths have decreased, and more and more people are choosing to get vaccinated, we have decided to move up to the next phase of our opening process.
Starting November 1st, we will unlock our lobby doors. The protocols will be as follow:
Clients will be able to enter our lobby to purchase food and supplies, as well as to make appointments and to pay their balances.
When checking in for an appointment, clients will check in over the phone, consequently, they will wait in their cars until a tech is ready for them.
Clients might check-in in person, but they must go back to their cars to wait until the tech has their room ready. This will allow us to prevent having too many people gathered in the same place.
Once the client has been seen, our techs will bring the charges over to the front desk so that client can check-out.
Regarding face masks and social distancing
Face masks will only be mandatory in our exam rooms due to the close proximity and limited space, but we highly suggest keeping your mask on while inside our premises and to keep social distancing.
We totally understand how uncomfortable these protocols might be, please know that we are working towards eliminating all these requirements, but we have to go step by step. We want to be available for you if your pet becomes sick, but if our employees become ill, we may end up closing the clinic, so let's have a little bit of patience and follow these protocols for a little bit longer. Thank you"
Closing words
If in any way you prefer to continue using our curbside service, feel free to let our receptionists know and we will accommodate your needs.
We hope that opening our doors again, can alleviate the stress of not being able to reach us over the phone, and we ask you to continue being patience since we are too dealing with very limited staff. Thank you very much for your support and for trusting us with all your veterinary needs.
