Jan Egins, DVM
Veterinarian & Co-Owner
Dr. Egins began her veterinary career in 1986 at Town & Country Veterinary Clinic. In 1988, Dr. Egins joined the practice at Fair Oaks Veterinary Clinic. In 2003, she returned to the Town & Country Family by joining the veterinary team of Town & Country West Veterinary Clinic. Jan enjoys family life in Powder Springs, GA and spends most of her time participating in the active life of her amazing son.

Susan Goodman, DVM
Veterinarian & Co-Owner
Dr. Goodman began practicing with Fair Oaks Veterinary Clinic in 1986 (co-owned by Dr. Harrison and Dr. Good). With the retirement of Dr Harrison in 2003, Susan moved to Town & Country West Veterinary Clinic in Marietta, GA. Dr. Goodman resides in west Georgia on a farm with cattle, horses and mules, chickens, cats and a dog.

Danielle Jordan, DVM
Veterinarian & Co-Owner
Dr. Danielle Jordan was born and raised in the Atlanta area. Being a veterinarian was her dream since the age of seven. She attended the University of Georgia where she played college soccer for four years and graduated in 2000 with a biology degree. From there, Danielle moved to Grenada, West Indies to attend St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine. She spent three years in Grenada and completed her clinical year at the University of Georgia Veterinary School. Danielle graduated from St. George's University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. After graduation, she moved to Long Island, New York and worked at a small animal practice for two and a half years.
Danielle joined the Town & Country Family in 2008. She worked at the main clinic location of Town & Country for several years before moving to Town & Country West in 2011. Danielle enjoys working with rescue groups and has traveled to Panama several times to help with low cost spay and neuters. She also loves traveling and spending time with her dogs, Piton, Molly and Tommy.

Maria Fiorillo, DVM
Veterinarian & Co-Owner
Dr. Maria Fiorillo grew up in New York City wishing she could own a horse. When it became clear that was not a possibility she decided to apply for Vet school to be among her beloved animals.
She attended Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1993. While in school she did an internship in Australia to work with birds. After graduation she worked in Puerto Rico with the US Fish and Wildlife Service to help recuperate the endangered Puerto Rican parrot in the Luqillo rainforest.
Dr. Maria also practiced in Spain for a year. Her focus was to encourage preventative healthcare including spaying/neutering pets.
Dr. Maria lives in Marietta with her husband, two teenage sons and a poodle names Priscilla. Her hobbies are tennis and hiking Kennesaw Mountain. She enjoys practicing her Spanish with her Spanish-speaking clients.
Tamara Eck, DVM
Veterinarian - Ultrasonographer
Dr. Tamara Eck graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison's School of Veterinary Medicine with the intent of pursuing a career in zoo and wildlife animal medicine. She went to Chicago where she specialized in feline medicine. Excessive metal in her leg caused her to give up her zoo career goals and seek a warmer climate. Dr. Eck moved to Fayetteville, NC and became proficient at ultrasound in general practice. The opportunity arose for her to become the professional services veterinarian for a veterinary imaging company in Kennesaw, GA. Her favorite duty as a professional services veterinarian was teaching ultrasound courses for fellow practitioners. Dr. Eck offered a mobile ultrasound service and provided onsite training before joining Town & Country Veterinary Clinic and later Town & Country West Veterinary Clinic. Cardiology is her area of interest. She lives with her cats Sebastian and Swarovski in Dallas, GA. Dr. Eck loves the outdoors and particularly enjoys fishing from her kayak.
Lisa Edwards, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Edwards is a graduate of The University of Georgia with a degree in Animal Science. She obtained her veterinary degree four years later, in 1996, from the College of Veterinary Medicine. After working full time in small animal medicine for several years, she transitioned to relief work to better juggle both motherhood and medicine. For the past decade, she has worked at many practices in the northwest metro area and is pleased to now be working frequently at Town and Country West. Dr. Edwards spends her ‘off’ time volunteering for her children’s schools, knitting, singing for The Buddy O’Reilly Band, and caring for the family pets, Stripes, Stormy, Sunny, and Samoa (respectively - diabetic, arthritic, neurotic, and terminally friendly).
Oliver Carvajal, AIM, BBA, LREA
Practice Manager - Marketing
Originally from Venezuela, Oliver has a background in Business Administration, Marketing, Market Research, Web Development, and Real Estate. He started working in the Veterinary industry in 2002 and has been in charge of Practice Management and maximization of profits since then.
Kimberly Combs
Reception Manager
Kimberly was born and raised in Paulding County where she currently lives with her dog, Rocky, and Molly. Kimberly began her career with animals in 2008 working as a grooming assistant. In her spare time, she enjoys drawing, painting, fishing, and relaxing with her family. Her favorite breed is the American Pit Bull Terrier.
Cheryl Sims
Inventory Manager
Cheryl was born in Georgia and raised in both Georgia and Indiana. She has worked with Dr. Goodman and Dr. Egins for over 15 years. She has been with Town & Country West Veterinary Clinic since 2003. Starting in kennels, Cheryl has worked as a receptionist, veterinary assistant and is currently our assistant office manager & reception manager. In her spare time, she enjoys her dog Coco Pebbles, photography and hiking.
Rebecca Nix
Senior Veterinary Assistant
Becca is a native of Cobb County. Growing up, she made her spending money pet sitting for neighbors. Her first official job was as a groomer's assistant at a local grooming parlor. She has been working in veterinary medicine for more than four years. When not at work, Becca can be found taking classes at Kennesaw State University, playing with her dogs (Mimi and Darlynn) and three cats (Lady, Dude, and Percy).
Lauren Vadino
Veterinary Assistant
Lauren was born and raised in Georgia, and have always loved animals from a young age. She started dog-sitting and dog-walking around 10yrs old and have never stopped. She has a love for all animals, especially German Shepherds. She is working towards her Veterinary Technician degree while here at Town and Country West. In her off time she goes hiking or spend the day reading.
Danielle Davern
Veterinary Assistant
Danielle was born in Deleware, has lived in Georgia since 2011 and was raised in Marietta. She started working at the age of 15 and has been working as a veterinary assistant since 2021. She shadowed at Town and Country West at the age of 10 and now currently works as a veterinary assistant. When not at work, Danielle can be found being a full-time student at Kennesaw State University working towards Vet School in hopes of becoming a Veterinarian. She also loves playing with her dogs Sweetie and Max, or eating ice cream and binge watching Grey's Anatomy.
Courtney Mellard
Veterinary Lead Manager
Courtney was born and raised in Georgia where animals have always been the main focus of her life. She started working in kennels while in high school and worked as a veterinarian assistant during college. She started at Town and Country West in Sept. 2018. In her free time, she loves being outside with her husband and two dogs.
Keiza Santiago
Veterinary Assistant - Coordinator
Keiza was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Her love for animals stretches as far back as she can remember. Growing up with many dogs, cats, rabbits and hamsters she learned to value her relationships with animals above all else. Keiza has been in the veterinary field since 2017. She is dedicated to our patients and provides the highest standard of care. Her professional goals are to become a veterinarian. When she isn’t hard at work, you can find her working in her garden, hiking or paddle boarding.
