As we celebrate Independence Day, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of you, our valued clients and your beloved pets, for allowing us to care for your family for the past 25 years. We are incredibly proud to be a locally owned and community-rooted veterinary practice, serving Marietta and surrounding areas with compassion, dedication, and love.

Thank You for Supporting Local

Every time you choose to purchase your pet’s food, preventives, and medications from our clinic, or through our online store, you’re doing more than just buying a product. You’re helping to sustain a small business that employs local staff, supports local causes, and is entirely owned and managed by veterinarians who live in and care deeply about this very community.

While we do our best to stay competitive, large online pharmacies and corporate chains are often able to purchase products at a fraction of the price we pay. This creates an uneven playing field and threatens the stability of independently owned practices like ours. Many clinics are forced to raise service prices just to stay afloat, not out of greed, but because retail support has sharply declined despite our best efforts to offer fair and competitive pricing.

When you shop local, you're not just supporting a small business, you’re helping to keep personalized, high-quality veterinary care available in your community. Your loyalty truly makes a difference, and we thank you sincerely.

Holiday Safety Reminders

While we enjoy the celebrations today, please remember that fireworks can cause severe anxiety and stress in many pets. Loud noises, flashing lights, and the smell of smoke can lead to panic, escape attempts, or even injury. Please keep your pets indoors, secure, and comforted during fireworks displays.

Also, as tempting as it may be to share your holiday meal with your furry family members, please avoid feeding them table scraps or greasy foods. Rich, fatty dishes can trigger pancreatitis, a serious and painful condition. Common foods like onions, garlic, chocolate, and bones can also be harmful or toxic to pets.

If your pet is nervous, hiding, or acting out of the ordinary today, don’t hesitate to reach out to us tomorrow during regular hours, we are always here to help.

Holiday Hours Reminder

Our clinic is closed today, July 4th, in observance of Independence Day.We will reopen with regular Saturday hours tomorrow, July 5th, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

From all of us at Town & Country West Veterinary Clinic, thank you for your continued trust and support. We are proud to be your neighborhood veterinary clinic, where your pets are treated like family.

Wishing you and your loved ones a safe, happy, and healthy Fourth of July!

With gratitude,

The Doctors & Team at Town & Country West Veterinary Clinic
