We would like to remind you that our grooming services have been resumed. Our new grooming schedule will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for dogs under 26 lbs and sedated cats.

Our grooming services are exclusively available to current patients of Town & Country West Veterinary Clinic who are up to date with their rabies, distemper, and kennel cough vaccinations.

Like humans, aging can cause problems with the functioning of our organs and lead to diseases. For this reason, we recommend blood tests when your pet reaches the age of 7 years (5 years for large breeds) and annually thereafter. At this age, your pet is considered senior. Our blood test analyzes the function of many internal organs (kidneys, liver, electrolyte balance, etc.) and the different types of blood cells. Conducting periodic blood tests allows us to diagnose serious diseases in their early stages, often before causing permanent damage.
The blood test is also used to determine how safe the medicines used to treat chronic diseases are. For example, some medications for treating arthritis pain are processed and purified by the kidneys. If the kidneys are not working properly, these medicines will not be purified correctly from the blood and could cause damage and disease as these levels increase
Our Canine Wellness Package Plus includes:

A parasite test
A heartworm test
A blood test (with a urine analysis included at no additional cost upon the doctor's discretion)
